Nathan Armstrong represented the Pompton Lakes Men’s Track and Field at the STC Spring Opener.
Armstrong competed in the Men’s 1500m Open Run clocking a new Personal Best of 4:03.01 finishing 2nd in Heat 2 and 8th overall.
2 hours later, Armstrong would come back and compete in the Men’s 800m Open Run, competing in Heat 2, with 200m to go Armstrong was on pace to run another Personal Best but got boxed in with 150m to go, to slow and chop his stride, he tripped a little trying to get outside, Armstrong regathered himself and finished the final 100m strong clocking 1:59.12, finishing 5th in the Heat and 13th overall.
