It was a long day on the water for the ILCA 6 competitors including Bermuda pair Sebastian Kempe and Nicole Stovell, as only one race was completed for the Male and Female Fleets. The slowest boat in the Youth Worlds line-up, the ILCA 6 Dinghy struggles the most with punching into an adverse current.
Defending Champion Kempe finished 11th in the only race of the day, but he still remains the leader with 2 Net Points, after he is allowed to throw out a race result, his lead is now four points over second-place Rocco Wright from Ireland who had 6 Net Points, and Yogev Alcalay from Israel is in third with 8 Net Points.
Stovell fell down the leaderboard as she came off the water in 30th place with 45 Net Points, she finished in 29th on the day, a result she has also thrown out.
