St. George’s Colts 2 Dandy Town Hornets 1
At the Wellington Oval, the St. George’s Colts edged the Dandy Town Hornets 2 – 1 with all three goals coming in the first 45 minutes.
Cavon Ottley gave the St. George’s Colts the lead in the 14th minute, and then Blaiz Hall doubled the lead when he found the back of the net in the 39th minute. The Dandy Town Hornets would pull a goal back in the 43rd minute when Jahzardae Samuels found the back of the net, the teams went to the break with St. George’s Colts leading.
Neither team would score a goal in the second half, as the St. George’s Colts moved up to 4th place in the standings, while the Dandy Town Hornets remained in 7th.
FIRST DIVISION
Boulevard Blazers 1 St. David’s 2
St. David’s all but ended any hope Boulevard had of getting promoted when they came from behind to win 2 – 1 at the BAA Field.
Antoine Famous gave the Boulevard Blazers the lead in the 18th minute, only to have Aaron Paynter equalize for St. David’s in the 31st minute, as the teams went to the break level at 1 – 1.
In the 53rd minute, St. David’s took the lead and this goal from Tyrone Burgess proved to be the winner.
