 Preseason is about to look very different for National Women’s Soccer League team NJ/NY Gotham FC as they prepare to travel to Cali, Colombia, to take part in the inaugural Women’s Cup South America tournament.
Nia Christopher has been selected by NJ/NY Gotham Women’s FC to travel for the tournament.
The four-team tournament will be hosted by América de Cali in Guerrero Stadium and will also feature Deportivo Cali Femenino, and another National Women’s Soccer League team, Racing Louisville.
The tournament begins on Tuesday, February 27th, with kickoff for the first Semi-Final match, featuring Gotham vs. Deportivo Cali at 5 p.m., before the second Semi-Final between América de Cali and Racing Louisville kicks off at 8 p.m.
The next stage is set for Friday, March 2nd, when the winners of the two Semi-Final matches advance to face off in the tournament final at 8:30 p.m. Also, the two remaining sides will compete in a third-place match at 5:30 p.m. prior to the final.
