The PHC Zebras all but ended the St. George’s Colts dreams of being the Premier Division Champions this week with a 4 – 0 win over the east enders at the PHC Stadium.
The PHC Zebras took the lead in the 42nd minute, Marco Warren’s corner kick went in at the far post.
The lead was doubled on the stroke of halftime, Paul Simons went down the left side and his cross found Jenico Sealey unmarked in the box and he made no mistake.
Warren would make it 3 – 0 in the 52nd minute, a cross from Sealey saw Warren’s first-time shot beat the keeper.
Shavon Nisbettt would make it 4 – 0 in the 85th minute, on the left side, Nisbett cut in and unleashed a right-footed shot that went in.
FIRST DIVISION
BAA 0 St. David’s 1
St. David’s traveled to BAA Field and put a dent in BAA’s chances of winning the League as well as their promotion bid with a 1 – 0 win.
Iyuan Smith scored the loan goal for the visitors in the 28th minute of the match.
