It was a welcome return to Princes Park for Kenni Thompson and her London City Lionesses teammates, as they ran out 3 - 1 winners over Sunderland A.F.C Ladies.
With just five minutes on the clock, City had their noses in front, with Amy Rodgers sending in a pinpoint cross to the feet of Atlanta Primus, who picked her spot before slotting the ball into the far corner.
Karin Muya found Jamie-Lee Napier who had a shot saved, but the ball fell at Muya’s feet, who calmly found the bottom corner.

Stowmarket took just 10 minutes to open the scoring, when in-form Bermudan International Clemons weaved his way into the box putting the ball into the back of the net with a self-assured strike.
