Bermuda’s Jaqhuil Hill has signed a new contract with Oakville Blue Devils, with the club stating online, “Hill definitely caught our eye with his performance.”
The club’s announcement went on to state, “The Oakville Blue Devils have extended a Under 21 roster position to Jaqhuil Hill for the 2018 season. Hill was identified playing against the Blue Devils in the recent Bermuda Triangle Cup in Bermuda during the Blue Devils pre-season tour in April.
“Hill definitely caught our eye with his performance” commented Head Coach Duncan Wilde. “We invited him into training during our visit and he did very well. We have an excellent relationship with the Bermuda FA and we see this as an opportunity for one of their top young players to showcase himself in the Canadian Soccer community”.
“Hill has spent time in England over the past several years. Hill played for United FC, before signing a two-year scholarship with English club Mansfield Town in 2013. He then played for Ilkeston. After leaving Ilkeston in 2017 he trailed for Chesterfield. After a spell with Stafford Rangers, he moved to Rushall Olympic in October 2017.”
