The Bermuda Men’s Futsal League resumed inside the Bermuda College Gymnasium with a triple header that resulted in 46 goals.
In game 1, the Somerset Trojans earned their first victory, with a slim 7 to 6 victory against an improving Flanagan's Onions II team. In the first half, both teams scored 3 goals as neither team could dominate the other. In the second-half the Somerset Trojans scored 4 goals to Flanagan's 3 goals to seal the win. Somerset Trojans’ Leo Burgess was their MVP scoring 2 goals with Flanagan's led by an impressive Nick Dunkle who also scored 2 goals.
In game 2, league leaders C-Side were held to a 4-4 draw by a very disciplined Atletico CP. C-Side started the game slowly and could only manage to score 1 goal versus Atletico's 3 goals. In the second-half, the roles were reversed and C-Side dominated with 3 goals to Atletico's 1 goal. With the draw, the league is wide open. C-Side was led by Jaavaid Smith who scored 2 goals and Atletico CP's MVP was Jawonday Smith who also scored 2 goals.
Game 3 was another exciting game that saw De Warriors record their first win, 14 to 11, over PHC. In the first half, PHC jumped out an early lead scoring 8 goals to the Warriors 5. In the second-half, Warriors regrouped and led an impressive come-back scoring 9 goals to PHC's 3. Warrior's MVP was Aaron Spencer who scored 5 goals. PHC were led by Rakeem Deshields, a strong candidate for the league's golden boot, who scored an impressive 6 goals.
