The North Village Rams took a 1 - 0 lead, when Ralph Bean scored, but Simmons would equalize for the Dandy Town Hornets, but before the break the North Village Rams were back in front when Shayne Hollis scored, as the teams went to the break with the score 2 - 1.
The second half started out as a seesaw battle, but after the North Village Rams had a header come back off the crossbar, Simmons drilled home a shot to draw the Dandy Town Hornets level.
With the game entering stoppage time Simmons would score yet again to complete his hat-trick and earn the Dandy Town Hornets three valuable points and moved them to 15 points and 7th place in the Standings.
