FLANAGAN’S ONIONS 1 SOMERSET EAGLES 1

The First Division League Champions will be crowned on the final day of the season after first and second place Flanagan’s Onions and the Somerset Eagles played to a 1 – 1 draw at the BAA Field.

After a scoreless first half the Flanagan’s Onions went ahead in the 76th minute through a Peter Robey goal, but Khimo Harrison would equalize for the Somerset Eagles in the 84th minute.

IRELAND RANGERS 2 BAA 2

At the Somerset Cricket Club, Ireland Rangers and BAA played to a 2 – 2 draw. Jiriko Powell put Ireland Rangers ahead in the 15th minute, only to have Morricko Iris equalize for BAA in the 42nd minute. BAA would take a 2 – 1 lead when Jahkari Furbert scored in the 73rd minute, but Daneiro Tacklyn would find the back of the net in the 80th minute to draw Ireland Rangers level.

WOMEN’S FUTSAL LEAGUE

A total of 42 goals were scored in the Women’s Futsal League double header inside the Bermuda College Gymnasium.

In game 1, PHC defeated Young Men Social Club 25 - 1. PHC jumped out to a commanding lead in the first half, scoring 15 unanswered goals. Young Men Social Club had no answer to a focused PHC who scored 10 more goals in the second half. Young Men Social Club did however prevent the shut out with Kelechi Jones scoring the single goal. Micah Pond was the most outstanding player for PHC scoring 7 goals, with Jaissa Smith in goal for Young Men Social Club their most impressive player.

In game 2, Dandy Stars further cemented their league leading position by overcoming a determined Somerset team 12 – 4. Dandy Stars jumped out to a quick lead in the first half scoring 8 to Somerset's 3 goals. In the second half, Dandy Stars scored 4 more goals to Somerset's 1 to win the game comfortably. Shauntae Todd was the MVP for Dandy Stars scoring 5 goals while Dazhja Greaves was outstanding for Somerset scoring 2 goals.
