As www.islandstats.com reported yesterday, the Bermuda Football Association announced the appointment of Maurice Lowe as the new Technical Development Director (TDD).
Lowe has held positions in some of the Bermuda Football Association’s Member Clubs. He has had coaching roles at Somerset Eagles, Dandy Town Hornets, BAA and most recently Technical Director of Southampton Rangers.
In 2014 Lowe achieved his UEFA ‘A’ license as St. George’s park United Kingdom, Lowe has also been a staff coach with the Bermuda National Programme, most recently as Assistant Coach during the Bermua World Cup Campaign. As an IT Professional, Lowe is also ideally suited to assist the Bermuda Football Association in increasing the use of IT tools within the technical department.
The TDD is a part time post that will be complemented by an assistant to ensure the strategic plan objectives are achieved. In the coming month Lowe will familiarize himself with the Bermuda Football Associations Strategic Plan and prioritize objectives. Immediate goals for the TDD are to establish the National Programme curriculum and syllabus as well as assist the Full Member Clubs in implementing the same.
