Senior League

White Team 13 – Red Team 12

In an evenly balanced match the White Team edged the Red Team 13 – 12.

The White team was powered by strong hitting by Zaki Gibbons-Deshields, a stellar catch in foul play by Daejun Butterfield and two innings strong innings of pitching by Jack Fischer to open the game and clutch pitching by Ethan Adderley in rainy conditions to close out the game.

The Red Team was led offensively by Eli Carpol and rode the strong arm of Connor Hupman on the mound.

Cal Ripken Division

Mets 8 – Blue Jays 2

The Mets defeated the Blue Jays 8 – 2, the Mets won behind a strong pitching effort from Patrick McDowell, Remy Cahill, and Marcus Furbert who combined for 13 strikeouts and exhibited aggressive baserunning in the win.

For the Blue Jays, James Keith and Damian Moniz contributed with hits from the plate while Finn Peters pitched well in his debut from the hill.

Red Sox 13 – Phillies 10

The Red Sox rallied late to defeat the Phillips 13 – 10, the Red Sox won after strong pitching by Tucker Champion, John Fontanetta, and James Cook. The Phillies were led by Shane Reardon and Charlie Szakmary who knocked back to back inside the park home runs in the 6th.

Rookie Majors Division

In Game 1, the Diamondbacks defeated the Pirates 14-2 in a rematch from last week. Camden Collette and Theo Giannone each collected 4 hits for the Diamondbacks, highlighted by Collette's near out-of-the-park blast in inning 3. Landon Boorman contributed 3 hits for the Diamondbacks, including two in the decisive 2nd inning. Carter Simons Crane fired a scoreless inning for the Pirates and chipped in with an RBI triple.

In Game 2, the Blue Jays improved to 3-0 on the season with a nail-biter of a 3-2 win over the Orioles. Ethan Lowe had a run-scoring triple for the Blue Jays while Austin Linden had one of his own for the Orioles. Crew Dort and Conor Mahadeo pitched out of bases-loaded jams in the 4th and 6th innings, respectively, to keep the Jays unbeaten.
