It was another rough night at the ballpark for Adam Hall and is Aberdeen IronBirds teammates as they went down 13 – 5 to the Asheville Tourists the High-A affiliate of the Houston Astros.
Asheville jumped out to a 4 – 0 lead in the bottom of the first, they added another run in the second, before Aberdeen responded with a run in the top of the third, but Asheville would score twice in the bottom half of the inning to take a 7 – 1 lead.
Aberdeen scored 2 in the fourth, but Asheville added a run to the total, and then in the fifth Asheville score 2 more runs taking a 10 – 3 lead. Aberdeen scored 2 runs in the 6t, but Asheville scored 3 times in the 8th to end the game as a contest.
Hall went 0 for 4 from the plate with 2 strikeouts.
