Adam Hall and his Aberdeen IronBirds teammates went down for a fifth straight time to the Bowling Green Hot Rods the High-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, this time 13 11.
Hall went 2 for 5 from the plate with 2 strikeouts.
For the second day in a row, Aberdeen jumped out to a 2 0 lead in the top of the second inning, but Bowling Green would draw level with 2 runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning.
Bowling Green then went ahead 5 2 when they scored three runs in the bottom of the third, but Aberdeen would turn around and score 6 times in the top of the 5th inning to an 8 5 lead.
Bowling Green would then score 3 runs in the bottom of the inning to draw level yet again, but Aberdeen scored in the top of the 6th, they would score twice in the top of the seventh, but Bowling Green scored 4 times in the bottom half of the inning to lead 12 11, they would add yet another run in the bottom of the 8th to claim the victory.
