Adam Hall and his Aberdeen IronBirds teammates went down 7 – 5 to the Bowling Green Hot Rods the High-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.
Hall had a good night at the plate, going 2 for 3, and he scored 2 runs.
Aberdeen went ahead in the 2nd inning, but the score was level at 1 – 1 in the bottom half of the inning, Bowling Green would take the lead in the bottom of the 3rd, they would then score 2 more runs in the bottom of the 5th to make it 4 – 1.
In the top of the 6th Aberdeen would score another run, but Bowling Green would score a single run in the 7th and 2 more in the 8th to extend their lead to 7 – 2, Aberdeen would make a run in the 9th, but they were only able to score 3 runs.
