For the second time ever, the Aberdeen Steamed Crabs dueled in the New York Penn League. They took on the Staten Island Yankees who got the best of Adam Hall and his teammates with a 4-1 win.
Hall Singled and Doubled to extend his streak to fourteen games, he had 1 RBI which takes his season total to 22 and 1 Strike Out. Hall also picked up his 18th Stolen Base of the season.
In the second inning Andres Chaparro struck for the Yankees. He blasted a ball over the left field wall and the visitors club house to make it 1-0 Staten Island.
Nick Horvath would score Aberdeen’s run. He led off the third with a double and then found the plate on Hall's RBI Single.
Junior Soto in the 5th led off with a double. He came home on a wild pitch to make it 2-1 Staten Island
In the 7th inning Josh Breaux hit an RBI double that scored Ricardo Ferreira and extend the Yanks lead to three.
They added another in the 9th on Alex Junior's first hit of the game and pulled away from Aberdeen with a 4-1 win.
