To say it was a good day at the plate would be an understatement for Braxton Stowe and his Saint Louis University Baseball teammates.
Saint Louis recorded 15 runs on 18 hits with four home runs as they blew by the La Salle Explorers 15-1, with Stowe hitting his first home run of the year.
Saint Louis (27-15, 13-1 A-10) made it look easy at times as it secured its fifth Atlantic 10 series win of the season. Saint Louis posted runs in seven of the nine innings on the day as three different people sent balls over the wall.
In the fifth inning Stowe got in on the action, the first baseman hit his first home run of the year, his third hit of his career, and gave the Saint Louis a 14-0 advantage.
