The Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association (BLTA) announced the Spring Fever Tennis Tournament, a four-day junior tennis tournament, sponsored by Axa XL and sanctioned by the BLTA.
The Spring Fever Tennis Tournament will feature 30 players, both boys, and girls, from under-12, under-14, under-16, and under-18 age categories. Players will compete for valuable ranking points and showcase their tennis skills in what promises to be an exciting and competitive event.
"We are excited to build on the success of our previous tournaments and to see some great performances from our advanced players," said Michael Wolfe, President of BLTA. "We are also looking forward to seeing some surprises and new juniors showing themselves."
Players who have recently represented Bermuda at international tournaments will also be participating in the Spring Fever Tennis Tournament, bringing even more talent and competitiveness to the event.
"We are thrilled to welcome our young players to competitive play and to see them eager to show themselves, we’ve put in great efforts to ensure a smooth running of the event," said Sophie Campeau, organizing committee member.
The Spring Fever Tennis Tournament is sponsored by Axa XL, whose support has made it possible to provide this opportunity for young players to develop their tennis skills and compete at a high level.
"We are grateful to Axa XL for their support," added Wolfe. "Their support enables us to continue to offer opportunities for young players to develop their tennis skills and compete in local and international tournaments."
The Spring Fever Tennis Tournament promises to be a highlight of the junior tennis calendar and the BLTA encourages all tennis enthusiasts to come and support the young players.
