Trey Mallory and his UNC Wilmington Men's Tennis teammates kicked off its annual Battle at the Beach Round Robin with a 4-1 victory over visiting Illinois State at the UNCW Courts.
UNC evened their record at 5-5 this spring with the decision.
Mallory playing in the number three spot was leading Tomas Valencia 6-3, 5-4 when the match was halted as UNC took a 4 – 1 lead.
