South Alabama won the early doubles point and then split the six singles matches to slip past Trey Mallory and his UNC Wilmington Men's Tennis teammates, 4 - 3, at a neutral site Men's Tennis match at the UNF Tennis Complex.
Mallory and his teammate Gabe Hurtado went down in the number 2 Doubles spot 6 – 4 to Maxime St-Hilaire and Sebastien Collard.
Mallory did win his Singles match in the number 6 spot but needed 3 sets to do so. Taking on Javier Montoya, Mallory fell in the first set 6-1, but Mallory fought back to win the second set 6-3, he would then win the third set 6-4 to win the match.
