Tariq Simons began competing in the ASC Summer Open Tennis Tournament in Florida.
Simons advanced in is First Round match defeating American Jacob Maravillas in straight sets 6-3, 6-3.
In his Second Round match, rain halted play with Simons up 3-2 in the Second Set against Alexander Adamec, Simons had gone down in the First Set 7-6, before rain ended the day’s play in the Second Set.
