Shelby Madeiros watched from the sidelines as her Siena Women's Tennis teammate were victorious in their first home match of the season, as they defeated Binghamton University by a final score of 7 - 0. Siena won all three courts in Doubles play, and all by scores of 6-3 to go up 1-0 in the match heading into singles play. In singles, both sophomores Maanya Viswanath and Anastasia Koniaev each won in straight sets, but required tiebreakers in each.
Freshman Emma Boggiali also won in two but needed a tiebreaker. Sophomore Petra Miszczak had a clean 6-0, 6-1 win at #3 singles, while #1 singles court in Meagan Brown was able to come back from a first-set loss to win 6-2, 6-4 in the second and third set for the win and clean sweep for Siena.
