Going into the match St. George’s held a 3 – 1 lead, with Gavin Manders getting things rolling come from 5 – 1 down in the first set of his match against James Finnigan to win 7-5, he would then win the second set 6-4, to make the score 4 – 1 to St. George’s.
It was 5 – 1 to St. George’s after Nick Cooper defeated Bobby Bart in straight sets 6-3, 6-0.
St. George’s would only need a win in the final two Singles to claim the title and they did just that as Trey Mallory defeated Tariq Simons in straight sets 6-2, 6-4.
With the victory already in the bag, Scott Redmond defeated Dylan Powell in straight sets 6-1, 6-3 to wrap it up for St. George’s.
