Bermuda continued competing in the Davis Cup Americas Group III event in San Jose, Costa Rica, Bermuda are looking to win promotion to Group II for 2020.
Bermuda took on Jamaica in their third match and went down 2 – 1.
First to go on court was Trey Mallory who defeated Jacob Bicknell in a Three-Set battle that lasted 2 hours and 47 minutes.
Bicknell won the first set 7-6, Mallory would level the match at 1 - 1 when he won the second set 6-3. Mallory would win the third and final set in a tie-breaker 7-6.
Tariq Simons made his debut taking on Rowland Phillips, Simons would fall in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 in a match that lasted 1 hour and 9 minutes.
With the match now level at 1 – 1, Gavin Manders and Neal Towlson took to the court for the Doubles against Dominic Pagon and Phillips, Manders and Towlson would go down in straight sets 6-1, 6-3 in a battle that took 57 minutes.
