Bermuda youngsters have taken to the courts participating in the Montego Bay Junior ITF Tennis Championships in Jamaica.
Luke Stirling, David Leader and Kaylah Ming are all flying the Bermuda Flag in the Singles, while Tariq Simmons who now resides in Jamaica took to the courts in the Doubles Main Draw.
Unfortunately Leader went down in his first Qualifying Round match in straight sets 6-3, 6-1 to Ryota Kaneda from Japan.
Luke Stirling advanced to the main draw of the as a lucky loser. Stirling won his first Qualifying Round match after holding a 5 - 0 lead Jonathan Zachary Laforest from the USA Retired.
Stirling in his second Qualifying match went down in straight sets 6-2, 6-4 to Luis Andres Platas from Mexico, but advanced to the main draw.
Stirling won his First Round match against Robert Hayden from Barbados in straight sets 7-5, 6-2.
Kaylah Ming also had to go through the Qualifying Draw, she needed three sets to advance to the Main Draw winning 7-6, 3-6, 6-1 against Olivia Simms from Jamaica.
In her Main Draw First Round match Ming defeated Hayley McNair of Jamaica 7-5, 6-4.
Both Stirling and Ming have earned their first ITF Junior Circuit Singles Points.
In the Doubles, Simmons teamed up with Francis Von Arnim from Germany and they went down in straight sets to Callaway Clarke and Eliot Spizzirri both from the USA 6-1, 6-2.
Stirling and Luis Andres Platas from Mexico went down in a three set battle 6-3, 4-6, 10-8 to Toi Kobayashi and Shintaro Mochizuki from Japan.
