The two-day intensive course, hosted by the Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association (TCIFA) at their National Academy, brought together local officials determined to strengthen compliance, security, and match-day administration.
Parsons, a highly respected football administrator who serves as the BFA's Women's and Legends Scholarship Committee Chair, co-led the program alongside Jamaica’s Patrick Beckford. As a certified instructor and regular Match Commissioner for both Concacaf and the Caribbean Football Union (CFU), Parson's appointment highlights her growing influence as a leading educator in regional football administration.
The curriculum focused intensely on the critical roles of Match Commissioners and Venue Coordinators—the unsung custodians who protect the integrity of the game behind the scenes.
Through a series of specialized case studies and regulatory reviews, the instructors laid down strict guidelines for fair play, spectator safety, and minimizing match-day disruptions.
Rather than keeping the course strictly in the classroom, Parsons and Beckford put their students directly into a live, high-pressure environment. The participants took full administrative control of the pre-match preparations for the Provo Premier League fixture on May 30.
The practical field assessment forced officials to execute meticulous stadium walkthroughs, manage locker room inspections, conduct crucial equipment checks, and handle official match sheet reporting under strict competitive deadlines.
