The Dudley Eve Trophy provided another evening of football action with a double-header at the Devonshire Recreation Club, featuring two decisive victories and a total of six goals.
X-Roads 0 Devonshire Colts 3
In the Group B opener, Devonshire Colts finished second in their group following a comfortable 3-0 victory over X-Roads.
After a goalless first half, the Colts found their rhythm in the second. Senoj Mitchell broke the deadlock in the 55th minute, and the lead was doubled fifteen minutes later by Chemari Henry. The win was sealed in stoppage time when Elisha Darrell scored to make it 3-0.
The result places the Colts in second with three points, behind group winners St. George's Colts, while X-Roads finished with a single point.
Young Men Social Club 0 PHC Zebras 3
The second match of the night saw the PHC Zebras dominate their Group C Division clash against Young Men Social Club, winning 3-0.
The Zebras started fast, with Enrique Russell giving them the lead in the 6th minute after a well-worked team move. Russell was on the scoresheet again in the 36th minute, securing a 2-0 lead for his side at the break.
Kadeem Abraham added a third for the Zebras in the 88th minute to round off the scoring.
