Bermudian golfers Oliver Betschart, Dylan Muso, and Sienna Mosquera have concluded their campaigns at the International Optimist Junior Golf Tournament, showcasing their talent on the final day.
Betschart, who had started the final round tied for the lead in the Boy's 16-18 Division, finished in a respectable tie for fifth place. Playing on the challenging Optimist Blue Monster course, Betschart carded a three-over par 75 for his final round, which included 16 pars, one bogey, and one double bogey.
In the 'Clash of the Challengers' Boy's 16-18 Division, Muso produced an impressive two-under par 70 in his final round to secure a tie for third. Muso's strong finish featured an eagle, two birdies, 13 pars, and two bogeys, highlighting his resilience.
Mosquera, competing in her respective division, finished in a tie for 17th after an eight-over par 79 in her final round. Mosquera's scorecard included one birdie, 11 pars, four bogeys, one double bogey, and one triple bogey.
The experience at the prestigious International Optimist Junior Golf Tournament will undoubtedly serve as valuable development for these promising Bermudian talents as they continue their golfing journeys.
