Augustus Misses Cut & Development Summer League

IslandStats.com
Golfer Daniel Augustus concluded his challenge at The Rabat Open, part of the Clutch Tour, held at the picturesque Brocket Hall Estate in the United Kingdom. Augustus carded a second-round two-over-par 66 on the demanding Palmerston Course, ultimately missing the cut by four strokes.

Having teed off in the second round on one of Brocket Hall's two championship layouts, Augustus faced a stern test. His round comprised a mixed bag of scoring, featuring three Birdies, 11 Pars, three Bogeys, and one Double Bogey.

The two-over 66 saw Augustus finish in a tie for 83rd place. While demonstrating flashes of his capability with crucial birdies, the inconsistencies proved costly on a course where precision is paramount.

Augustus will now regroup and look ahead to his next challenge on the Clutch Tour, as he continues to compete against a strong field of professional golfers.

Meanwhile, the Five Forts Golf Club in partnership with the Golfzon Leadbetter Academy Bermuda proudly hosted Round 3 of its Junior Golf Development Summer League, welcoming 16 enthusiastic young golfers across four divisions.

The league, now well underway, continues to promote junior golf excellence, sportsmanship, and developmental progress in a fun, competitive setting. Round 3 featured the introduction of the Blue Tee Division for advanced junior players, marking a new milestone in the league’s evolution.
