Three days of challenging golf at the Port Royal Golf Course culminated today with Jarryd Dillas, Tracy Burgess, and Baldonick Fernandez being crowned the 2025 Bermuda Amateur Stroke Play Champions in their respective divisions.
In the Men’s Championship Division, Dillas produced a strong final round to claim the title. After a three-over-par 74, Dillas finished atop the leaderboard with a three-round total of nine-over-par 222. Eric West, who had led for the first two rounds, finished a close second after a final round of six-over-par 77, ending one stroke back at ten-over-par 223. Will Haddrell secured third place with an 11-over-par 224.
The Ladies Championship Division saw Burgess claim the coveted championship title. Fresh from her international experience at Pinehurst, Burgess carded a final round of 13-over-par 84, giving her a three-round total of 31-over-par 244. Vanessa Chychrun finished second, shooting a final round of 12-over-par 83 to end at 33-over-par 246. Overnight leader Darina Betschart finished third with a three-round combined score of 34-over-par 247.
In the Senior Men’s Championship Division, Fernandez led from start to finish, maintaining his composure to secure the title. He concluded with a three-round total of 21-over-par 234. Mark Ray finished four strokes back in second place with a combined total of 25-over-par 238. Hav Trott and Arthur Jones finished tied for third, both with a three-round total of 26-over-par 239.
The championship delivered compelling golf across all categories, with deserving champions emerging after a testing week at Port Royal.
