The team of George O’Brien Jr., Ebonie Cox, Andrew Francis, and Nick Jones emerged victorious at the Friend of Hospice One Love (Brian Morris) Golf Tournament, held at the scenic Ocean View Golf Course.
The quartet combined brilliantly to card an impressive round of 15-under par, securing the top spot in the charity event.
The competition for the top places was tight, with the team of OJ Pitcher, Aaron James, Mark Crawford, and David Patterson finishing a close second, two shots back at 13-under par. They were closely followed by the team of Brian Morris Jr., Justin Madeiros, Damon Mussenden, and Blip Morris, who also finished with a score of 13-under par, taking third place.
Away from the team competition, there were individual accolades up for grabs in the Men's Division, and Aaron James proved to be a double winner. He demonstrated his accuracy to win the Closest to the Pin challenge on the 18th hole and also unleashed a powerful drive to claim the Longest Drive prize on the 14th hole.
The Friend of Hospice One Love (Brian Morris) Golf Tournament is a popular event that combines competitive golf with fundraising for a vital cause. The strong turnout and close competition highlight the support for Hospice and the spirit of camaraderie within the local golfing community.
