The Berkeley Institute Gymnasium hosted a lone fixture in the latest round of Bermuda Basketball Association action, with the New Era Flyboys securing a comfortable victory over Caesars Pharmacy the Answer. The Flyboys proved too strong on the night, running out 56-35 winners.
Akil Smith spearheaded the New Era Flyboys' offensive efforts, leading all scorers with a dominant 19-point performance. Smith's impact wasn't limited to scoring, as he also contributed defensively with two steals and added two rebounds and a blocked shot to his stat line.
Despite the efforts of Napthali Smith, who also registered 19 points for Caesars Pharmacy the Answer, his team struggled to keep pace with the Flyboys. Smith also contributed two rebounds and one steal for his side, but it wasn't enough to prevent a decisive victory for the New Era Flyboys in the sole match of the round.
