The Berkeley Institute Gymnasium played host to a closely fought Bermuda Basketball Association (BBA) encounter which saw the Kings narrowly edge out the Chargers in a low-scoring affair, winning by a slender 45-43 margin.
Darae Smith proved to be the key player for the Kings, leading his team in scoring with an impressive 20 points. He also contributed on the boards, pulling down a team-high four rebounds.
For the Chargers, Calvert Lee and Kevin Stephens shared the scoring load, each contributing 12 points to their team's tally. Stephens also led the Chargers in rebounding with three.
Ultimately, despite the strong performances from Lee and Stephens, the Kings' Darae Smith's decisive scoring proved to be the difference in a tight battle that went down to the wire.
