Adam Hall played his part as his Nashville Sounds teammates ended their series in Charlotte in spectacular fashion, slugging a franchise-record seven home runs in a high-scoring 14-11 victory over the Knights. Five different Sounds players went yard, with Jorge Alfaro and Andruw Monasterio each hitting two home runs in the offensive explosion.
Hall, starting in Left Field, had a productive day at the plate, going 2-for-4 and also scoring a run for the Sounds.
In the top of the third inning, Hall showcased his ability to get on base, hitting a soft ground ball for a single off Charlotte second baseman Greg Jones. Freddy Zamora then walked, advancing Hall to second base. The inning exploded into life when Daz Cameron stepped up to the plate and launched a fly ball over the center field fence for a three-run home run, scoring Hall and Zamora and giving the Sounds an early lead.
Hall's next plate appearance in the top of the fourth saw him hit a fly ball to left fielder Dominic Fletcher for an out. In the sixth inning, Hall demonstrated his patience by drawing a hit-by-pitch, putting him on first base. He advanced to second on a single by Zamora, but his progress was halted when Cameron grounded into a force out.
Showing his versatility, Hall led off the top of the ninth inning with a well-placed soft bunt ground ball for a single to third baseman Tristan Gray. With Hall on first, Zamora then hit a fly ball to right field for a double. However, Hall's attempt to score from first was unsuccessful as he was tagged out at home on the throw.
Despite being out at home in the ninth, Hall's two hits and a run scored contributed to the Sounds' dominant offensive performance. The seven home runs, a new franchise record, powered Nashville to a thrilling 14-11 victory, ensuring they left Charlotte on a high note after a series of contrasting results.
