Hosting events like the Latin America Amateur Championship or the Women's Amateur Latin America is undoubtedly a testament to their great work.
In both amateur championships, Lawrie improved the product and achieved what any amateur wants: playing in a major.
Today, both tournaments have three invitations to “Major” events.
With the Federations and/or Associations, the Argentine has provided the support of The R&A and a clear message to help countries develop golf.
The R&A has helped all the countries Lawrie has visited. Some countries have understood the message and done wonderful things, while others have not yet understood, and it is clearly reflected that if there is no work, there is no reward.
