Ryan Outerbridge of the Franklin Pierce Men's Track and Field team has been honored as the Northeast-10 (NE10) Track Athlete of the Week, following his outstanding performance in the first week of the outdoor track and field season.
Outerbridge's recognition comes after his impressive showing at the SNHU Spring Invite this past weekend. He competed in both the men's one-mile and 5000m events, delivering exceptional results.
In the mile, Outerbridge finished second overall, but his performance was made even more significant by breaking the school record with a time of 4:19.64.
He also demonstrated his strength and endurance by winning the 5000m run, clocking a time of 15:07.27.
Outerbridge's achievements at the SNHU Spring Invite have earned him this prestigious weekly award from the NE10. His record-breaking run and victory highlight his talent and contribution to the Franklin Pierce team.
