Sophomore Asia Hollis continued her impressive form, securing another two crucial victories to lead her Wheaton College (Mass.) Women's Tennis teammates to a dominant 7-0 victory over visiting Clark University (Mass.) in New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play at Beard Field House on the Wheaton campus.
Hollis's performance was pivotal in Wheaton College's comprehensive win, showcasing her strength and consistency in both doubles and singles matches.
Wheaton College demonstrated their dominance early on, with Hollis playing a key role in securing the doubles point. Hollis teamed up with Laila Haraj-Sai in the number two doubles spot, where they delivered a decisive 6-0 triumph over Clark University sophomores Winifred Gakidis and Olivia Shipley.
Hollis then carried her winning momentum into the singles competition. Playing at number four singles, she secured a convincing victory against junior Merielle Kane of Clark University, winning with scores of 6-2, 6-3.
