The opening round saw some impressive performances, with leaders emerging in the various divisions.
Blue Championships Division
Oliver Betschart carded the low score of the day, a 2-over par 72, to take the lead in the Blue Championships Division. Despite a late stumble, Betschart had a strong round before his final hole.
He was sitting at 3-under par through 17 holes, recording 5 Birdies, 10 Pars, and 2 Bogeys, but a disastrous 9 on the final hole pushed him to 2-over par.
White Championship Division
Lewis MacFarlane leads the White Championship Division after carding a 9-over par 79. MacFarlane's round included 2 Birdies, 8 Pars, 6 Bogeys, 1 Double Bogey, and 1 Triple Bogey.
Red 9-Hole Division
Joshua Cann leads the Red 9-Hole Division using the Stableford Points system, accumulating 20 points.
