The Seattle Mariners emerged victorious in a high-scoring Spring Training encounter, defeating Adam Hall and his Milwaukee Brewers teammates 12-8.
The game, a typical Spring Training affair, saw both teams showcase their offensive firepower, with runs flowing freely throughout the contest. For the Brewers, however, the day ended in defeat.
Hall entered the game as a pinch-hitter for Jake Bauers in the bottom of the 7th inning. Facing a Mariners' pitcher, Hall grounded out to shortstop, Jack López, who relayed the ball to first baseman Hogan Windish.
Hall returned to the plate in the bottom of the 9th inning, but once again found himself grounded out, this time to a shallow infield play. Jack López and Hogan Windish were again involved in the play.
While Hall's contributions at the plate were limited, Spring Training is a time for players to get back into the rhythm of the game, and for managers to assess their squads. The Mariners' offensive display will undoubtedly please their coaching staff, while the Brewers will be looking to tighten up their pitching and defensive play.
