Gymnasts from the Gymnastics Federation of Bermuda (BGA) and Quality Gymnastics Bermuda recently showcased their talent at the Presidential Classic Gymnastics Competition held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex.
The competition saw strong performances from the Bermudian contingent across multiple levels.
In the Bronze Division, Raelyn Robinson (BGA) impressed with a third-place all-around finish, scoring 36.875. She excelled on the apparatus, taking first place on Bars with a score of 9.6 and second place on Beam with 9.325. Fellow BGA gymnast Satya Tuzo-Smith also delivered a solid performance, placing fourth on Vault (9.55) and third on Floor (9.35). Jodie Denton (BGA) added to the medal count with a fourth-place finish on Bars (9.625).
Quality Gymnastics' Silver Division team, comprised of Jasmyne Walters (33.75 all-around), Lily Hall (33.4 all-around), Sasha Maringi (35.175 all-around), Siaana Seth (33.75 all-around), and Abigail Maringi (35.775), demonstrated their skills and finished fifth overall as a team.
In the more advanced Gold Division, Quality Gymnastics' Isabella Daniels finished eighth all-around (34.825), followed by Eleanor Garcia in ninth (34.35) and Aleyah Pacheco in 11th (33.275). BGA gymnasts Isobel Stones and Samantha Tolosa also competed in the Gold Division, with Tolosa achieving a commendable fourth-place all-around finish (35.00) and second place on Bars (9.075).
Level 6 gymnast Cassandra Mayers (BGA) also competed, scoring 34.775. The combined performances of the gymnasts from both BGA and Quality Gymnastics highlight the growing strength and depth of Gymnastics in Bermuda.
