Swimmer Myiesha Sharrieff and her Howard University Women's Swimming & Diving teammates suffered a 174-67 defeat against Towson University on the road.
Sharrieff contributed to the team's efforts with appearances in two Relay events, showcasing her versatility and competitive spirit.
In the Women's 400 Yard Medley Relay, Sharrieff led off for Howard University's 'B' team. Despite a strong effort, the team finished in 5th place with a time of 4:07.77.
Sharrieff also took on the lead-off leg in the Women's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, again representing Howard's 'B' team. This time, they secured a 3rd place finish with a time of 1:39.94.
While the overall result was disappointing for Howard, Sharrieff's contributions to the Relay teams demonstrate her commitment and value to the squad. Her performances in both medley and freestyle relays highlight her adaptability and ability to compete across different strokes.
