Men’s Division: Renegades Men Edge Police in Tense Encounter
The Men's Division saw a much closer contest, with the Renegades edging out the Police 19-17 in a thrilling 10-a-side match.
Grenville Lions opened the scoring for the Renegades, with Robin Brickell adding the conversion. The Police responded through Jason Chlup, but the missed conversion left them trailing. Brickell then extended the Renegades' lead with a try and conversion of his own.
The Police fought back with a try from Frans Smit, converted by Chlup, to close the gap. Wendall Anderson then put the Police ahead with an unconverted try. However, a late try from Jamie Baum, though unconverted, sealed a dramatic victory for the Renegades.
