The tournament started with a tough test against the Burlington Centaurs RFC. Despite a valiant effort, the Dark & Stormies fell 24-10 in their opening match. But this team doesn't back down easily.
In their second game, the Dark & Stormies unleashed a storm of their own, overpowering the Ottawa Rugby Club with a 26-12 victory. Their resilience and attacking prowess were on full display as they bounced back from their earlier defeat.
With a chance to finish strong, the Dark & Stormies faced the Valkyries RFC in the 5th/6th place playoff. Despite a hard-fought battle, the Valkyries proved too strong, securing a 35-7 win.
While the final result wasn't what they hoped for, the Dark & Stormies showed their potential and fighting spirit throughout the tournament. This young team is gaining valuable experience on the international stage, and their future looks bright as they continue to develop and grow.
