Bermuda Rugby’s Women’s National Contact 7s team, known as the Dark & Stormies, is set to compete in the highly anticipated New York Rugby 7s Tournament this weekend, from November 29th to December 1st.
This one-day competition, held in the heart of New York City, will feature 16 teams battling for supremacy in their division, promising a showcase of intense action and skill.
For Bermuda’s team, this tournament represents a key milestone in their ongoing development. With a youthful squad and many new faces stepping up to replace a generation of experienced players, the team is focused on growth, cohesion, and performance under pressure. The Dark & Stormies see this as a critical step in their journey to peak readiness for the Rugby Americas North 7s Competition in November 2025.
