In the final road game of the regular season, Adam Hall and his Biloxi Shuckers teammates fell to the Rocket City Trash Pandas, 6 - 3, at Toyota Field.
Despite the loss, the Shuckers saw their magic number drop to four with a Mississippi Braves loss. The Shuckers need to win two games next week against the Mississippi Braves to eliminate the Braves from playoff contention.
Pending the result between the Pensacola Blue Wahoos and Birmingham Barons, the Blue Wahoos’ elimination number will be three with a loss and four with a win. The calculation of Pensacola’s elimination number is the combined number of Shuckers’ wins and Blue Wahoos’ losses.
Hall went 1 for 3 from the plate, his hit came in the top of the seventh with a Line Drive Single to right field. Hall would draw a Walk in the 9th, he would move to second on a Single, the next batter would Walk to load the bases, sending Hall to 3rd, Ernesto Martinez would then draw a Walk for Hall to come home to make it 6 – 3.
