Bermuda's RAN's U19 Championships Team Announced
The Under 19 Bermuda National Rugby Team, sponsored by Coralisle Group Ltd. (CG), is set to compete in the Rugby Americas North (RAN) Under 19 Championships in Mexico City from July 10th to July 13th.

A spokesperson said, “Following a strong performance last year, where Bermuda secured third place, the team is determined to achieve even greater success this year despite facing formidable opponents such as Jamaica, USA South, and Mexico, who will be competing on their home turf.”

Brandon Sangster, the team’s captain, expressed his excitement and confidence, stating, “As my first year as the team’s captain, and my third year being a part of this tournament, I’m thrilled to lead the team towards our strongest outcome yet. The guys have worked incredibly hard, and we are ready to show what Bermuda can do.”

Coach Chris Naylor shared his enthusiasm about the team’s prospects, adding, “We have a great and diverse team of boys from all over the island representing Bermuda, with some filtering through the Beyond Rugby Programme. They have worked well together and have become a cohesive unit. In addition, we have a large group of 19-year-olds on the pitch, which means it’s their last year, but also means we are in a position of strength. We are proud of the work they have done and feel promising about their performance.”

The spokesperson said, “The team roster for the RAN U19 Championships includes Osiris Buffonge-Hunt, Luke Summers, Matthew Groves, Sam Jenkins, Aiden Kendall, Daniel Kunst, Oliver MacLoughlin, Thomas MacLoughlin, Cameron Morris, Kwame Naylor, Dante Noel-Simmons, Malachi Paynter, Samir Place, Yann Pugi, Brandon Sangster, Dylan Sangster, Nyindae Smith, Wysdem Symonds, Finn Watson, and Nathan Wilson.”

Naz Farrow, CEO of CG, commented on the company’s sponsorship, saying, “At CG, we are dedicated to being a people-first company that is committed to strengthening our local communities. Supporting youth in sport and fostering a spirit of healthy living and goal setting are integral to our core values. We are excited to sponsor the Bermuda U19 Rugby Team and support them as they showcase their talents on this international stage.”
