The 2024 ITF/COTECC Under 12 Team Competition concluded in the Dominican Republic, with both the Bermuda Girls and Boys teams finished in 3rd.
In their final match of the tournament, the Bermuda Girls defeated Puerto Rico 2 – 1.
Arianna Parra went down in the first match in a three-setter, 6-3, 3-6, 6-1, but Lee Terceira leveled the score at 1 – 1 when she won the second match 6-3, 6-1.
The match would be decided by the Doubles, with Parra and Terceira winning 6-3, 6-4.
Unfortunately, the Boy’s went down 2 – 1 to the Dominican Republic One team in their final match.
Bermuda was down 1 – 0 after Manuel Maldonado went down 6-3, 6-3 in the opener. Oliver Anderson would then level the score at 1 – 1 when he won the second game 6-4, 6-1.
The match would be decided on the Doubles, with Anderson and Maldonado going down 7-6, 6-4.
