Brijette Basden represented Shaw University at the CIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Basden would finish 23rd in the Women’s 100m Preliminaries clocking 12.72, with a time of 26.65, Basden finished 28th in the Women’s 200m Preliminaries.
Basden would run the third leg for the Shaw University Women’s 4x100m Relay team which finished 8th clocking a time of 48.46.
Basden would also compete in the Women’s High Jump finishing 12th with a top leap of 1.50m.
