In the Opening Round of the NCAA Tournament competing at the Winston-Salem Regional hosted by Wake Forest, Daniel Phillips and his Arizona State Men's Tennis teammates came out on top 4 - 3 in the thriller over Georgia.
Roi Ginat clinched the match for ASU and secured the team's 18th win of the season, which is the most wins in a single season since the program's reinstatement.
Phillips teamed up with Martin Vergara they defeated Cyrus Mahjoob, and Miguel Pena 6-3 in the Doubles, but it was Georgia who scored the Double point winning the other two matches.
