Sydney Fischer and her Blair Academy Varsity Field Hockey teammate's dream start to the season continued as they won their third game in a row to start the season.
This time Blair would edge Newton 3 – 2.
Newton would take the lead when Julia Decker scored in the 17th minute, but Ali Frazer drew Blair level when she scored in the 19th minute.
Fischer would give Blair the 2 – 1 lead when she scored in the 30th minute, which was the only goal of the second period.
Sidney Pavlishin would draw Newton Level when she scored in the 56th minute, but Maddie Miller would score the game-winner in the 59th minute to earn Blair the win.
